All I ever wanted was to dream sunsets with you.

To think back on my first high school days, I am ashamed of the person I was. I never met someone who inspired me to be full of life, full of smiles, and full of happiness and optimism. To think that I was once hateful to someone so beautiful blows my mind.

Rachel Rutledge, you were so beautiful and just indescribable. I am so thankful I got the chance to know you at Governor’s School again and redeem myself as a person. But I know you probably didn’t judge me, which is why I can only think incredible things about you. I can’t help but think about the “what ifs”. But then I remember God knew exactly what he was doing and in reality, I heard you were far too wonderful for this life anyway.

I just hope that wherever you are up there; you have found peace. You can express yourself in ways you never could here and that you know how many people love you and how many have come to love.
